pass or die,
I have been taking these exams for years now, I know it's my fault cus i had long gaps between exams and this is the worst thing you can do.
I took Far six months ago and i got 60 , prior to that, i took FAR about 15 months ago and i had 73... I lost credit for REG and AUD ( it really hurts ) but for some reason i enjoyed AUD and REG and felt it was "practical" stuff.. but I TRULY hate FAR and BEC... I never passed BEC either ... i think i took FAR and BEC 6 times each over the period of four years.

I have been studying from Exammatrix, ( i love the software ) it mixes questions , and you don't get bored ... i have watched yaeger lectures, did all becker passmaster questions, did wiley questions assigned by CIndy .... i mean i truly studied but some stuff doesn't sink in... I know someone bought some notes off ebay the guy sold the notes for 80 bucks to ppl who bought it.. I messaged those buyers and asked their feedbacks , both were able to pass the exam after failing once.. one guy got 91 and other person got in 80's

I want to buy notes but this guy is not selling notes on ebay.. I think it's good to have concise notes that cover all the relevant topics...

MCQ's on the actual exams were fair, it's just that SIms are unreal , especially when they give at the end, when  your brain battery is running lowto think anything ...

i wish these examiners take these exams with the same time constraint and then i will ask them how we feel..

Passing a CPA exam not gonna make anyone smarter, it is just a gruelling process.. for some it's worth it.. for me it's more of a challenge.. truth is i love IT and have worked in it and will be working in it even after passing the CPA>. for me passing a CPA is a personal achievement..

i am sorry for making so many comments.. Today i feel like  i am out of prison and can breathe sigh of relief lol
i will watch murder mysteries on youtube since i have murdered FAR today :P

well, do or die, after taking the exams so many times, i feel, you cannot fully prepare for this section atleast ... you need to have good notes and read them over and over again, trust me on the exam, things will come to you and you will remember reading something  somewhere.. I also remember, what was i doing when i read that part of the book lol

stop worrying about sims as no review provider can totally prepare you for the sims...

Scores should be coming out in June,,,,, I think you should start studying for you next exam.. Dont stress, we'll get through it. I think after so many attempts its starting to take its toll on you...On that note,,,, up to this point, have your FaR scores been increasing or what????????

Pass,
I had 73 score about 15 months ago, and then i had a 60 six months ago, so scores are not consistent..
i will be studying for the GMAT till the scores come out.. if i pass then i will continue, if not then it's better to go for an MBA , which is easier than stick with something that i haven't had success for years .. i am sorry guys i don't wanna create a negative atmosphere, these are just my thoughts.. what i am thinking of doing in the future is to register for FAR and nothing else.. once i pass FAR then i will register for others... FAR is something can really drag you down ...

Today, even i didn't do well on the exam but i am happy. i am actually smiling and laughing which i haven't done for the longest time..
tommorow, i will start going to the GYM , which i gave up months ago , but thank GOD i am not out of shape ..

I have heard, NASBA start releasing scores sooner? why June then? i was under the impression, the results would be out in 20 days or so.. my strategy was if i pass , i will register for other sections right away ... and take atleast BEC in this window

Khan,

I saw the scores info on " anthr71,com" its nothing concrete, so I dont really know when scores will be coming, it may be in 20 days. You made a 73, dammm, you were right there. From what I understand, there's only so many ways the AICPA can form these questions, so if you know the concept well enough, you should be ok. But, as I said before, I haven't taken the exam yet, so I dont know. So from your experience, were there any new topics on the exam that you were not prepared for or did you just go blank once you started?? I tend to do that a lot,, I have to stare at the question at least for 3-5 minutes before I can start to work it out....
