Thanks for explaining the whole picture of the exam. Your reply is very helpful to me. I'm using Gleim for MCQs, my biggest fear is Essay questions. I dont know how it will go in my exam. when I used IMA online assessment tool for MCQ, I saw lot of questions similar to the gleim with different company names, it seems to be simple after using Gleim's MCQs. Your post really boost up me a lot...thank u so much sandra. Can you plz share your score in both parts??

The questions on the exam are somewhat different in wording than the
ones in gleim, but it's the same concepts. The essays where easier
than gleim BUT had way more parts. Instead of part one and two for
each question I had between 4-5.
Have you taken the CPA or are thinking about it? I think in some ways
the CMA is significantly easier. Less info to cover on each part but the
essays are more difficult since you don't get much help at all on the
CMA.
A bit more advice- for part 2 remember all the equations you will find in
the text. You won't have time to try and figure it out come test day.
Also understanding costing methods is NOT OPTIONAL. If you don't
get ABC, variable vs absorption costing etc you will be really really sad.
My brain is fried- I'll look up my scores for you. Bottomline- if you are a
good test taker this is very doable.

Thanks Sandra.
Good luck! Does the CMA have blackout months like the CPA?
