Anyone having problems with Prometric?  When I go to schedule an appointment, it says session has expired and basically I cant schedule right now.

i am getting the same error for last 2 weeks..will call the prometric helpline if it doesnt work by EOD today...

i realised what i was doing wrong...the screen which asks for our exam section id...i was copying and pasting from pdf...hence the error...when i manually entered the ID it worked normally...

thanks

Dokimcpa - thanks, and no problem.  Good luck on that last section!  Will you be spending any time in NYC after your exam, or will you be heading right back?  It gets lively and festive in the city at this time of year.

Thank you, kj_nyc!  I will probably head back right after exam.  My exam appointment time is 5:00pm and I don't want to get lost in the middle of night in NYC.. lol  I am planning to walk in early and see if they have a spot for me to sit early for the exam.  In that case, I may stop by Korean town and have a nice korean dinner.

Thanks and congratulation again for passing the cpa exam!  You Nailed it !!  Are you getting a medal for the high scores?

Thanks, Future CPA!  Nice to see you around.  Yeah, it's really quite a relief finally to be all done and able to start moving on with my life.

Yeah, I thought FAR was the most difficult, definitely a beast, but it can be tamed.  Good luck with FAR!  You're almost there.  As others have said, it is a mile wide and an inch deep.  You just have to have a decent knowledge of every topic covered because you never know what will show up on the exam.  And yes, miracles do happen.  FAR may be the most difficult, but it is graded most leniently.  Honestly I felt most comfortable after BEC and quite bad after FAR, but as you can see, BEC was my lowest score.  Just keep doing lots of practice problems, and review your notes at the end.  Good luck on Saturday!  I'm sure you will do well.

Thanks, Dokimcpa!  Yep, very often Prometric will let you check in and take the exam soon after you arrive, so it's a great idea to walk in early.  And yes, NYC has a lot of great places for all kinds of good food and a good time.

I would love to get one of those Elijah Watt Sells awards that they give out every summer.  I could use anything to help my resume.  :-)  Not sure what my chances are.  I know there is one guy who got last year's award and had the same cumulative score of 390 as I have, and there have been people who got the award with slightly lower scores, but there have also been people with my scores who did not get the award, so I'm not holding my breath.

Good luck on the 30th, and I hope you will be able to test early and enjoy a nice Korean dinner!
