I'll share some of my personal experiences.
REG - I used only Becker and thought they did a great job. I did not see 1 question on the real exam that I had to randomly guess on.
FAR - I used Becker and was struggling bigtime so I ordered the Bisk Intensive review DVD (costs $250) and it helped me tremendously. Honestly, if I didnt buy this DVD I probably would've failed. The instructor in the DVD, Robert Monette is a badass. I really wish Becker hired this guy because he makes everything seem so easy. When I studied with Becker, they make everything seem so easy and I felt like I knew everything, but when I applied them to the problems, I got completely lost. With the Bisk DVD, Robert Monette makes everything sound easy when learning AND when applying them to the problems. When I went back to the MCQs I had trouble on after watching the DVD, I was thinking "damn, how did I NOT understand this stuff the 1st time...it's so simple!!" Therefore, I would definately suppliment Becker with the Bisk DVD.
BEC - I'm taking it this friday, and I thought Becker did a good job on everything except Ch. 5 - Cost and managerial accounting. In fact, they did a terrible job on ch. 5. Again, I bought a Bisk DVD, only this time it was the HOT SPOT dvd with robert monette again, which focuses on a particular area you are weak in. Just like with FAR, the DVDs made my life much easier.
If you are struggling, I wouldn't buy more MCQs since most MCQs are either similar or recycled questions from other review courses. Becker has plenty of MCQs, so all you need is something that explains the concepts better. Bisk DVDs will do the job.
