If I received my score this a.m. online, when should I receive the diagnostic report.  I got a 71 and would like to know where my weak spots were.

About a week!  I got my score last week Tuesday morning and haven't received mine yet.  Still waiting!

I think most of these posts are getting away from the point.  I believe the author of this post said that they were getting between 60 and 65 on their MCQ's.

How do you expect to pass a test that has all 9 parts included in Becker, when you can only get a 60 or 65 on problems that you should of seen twice or three times (doing the MCQs each section and progress tests every 3 sections)?

For people who did pretty well at their university for their B.S. in accounting, (i.e. B's, some C's some A's), I think it is important to understand why you got a problem wrong.  I spend more time studying the reasons for why A is correct and B C and D are wrong than anything else.  I studied at most 80 hours for REG and about 75 hours for BEC and barely passed them both.

Just an fyi, I didnt look at anything related to R-6 and R-7 and I passed REG.  But, I did understand most everything up to those sections because I could consistantly get a 78 - 85 on progress tests.

I feel your pain, as I have now failed FAR three times- 69, 72, 69. This last time was the worst because I really thought I passed and I got the same score as the first time and I knew I had failed that time. Now I have to pass FAR, REG and AUD by Nov 30 or I lose BEC.

When you go through the Becker lectures the next time, you won't have to highlight again so this time get a notebook and write out the stuff that they say to memorize or be very familiar with. If it's a concept, rewrite it in your own words. Leave a few spaces after each different concept and when you go through the questions write down the 'rule' or the solution for questions you miss. There is something about seeing the material in your own handwriting that helps you to be able to visualize the material on the tests.

I have tried Gleim and Becker but I never manage to get through all the questions once. I think it would be better to do the 1200 MCQs in Becker 2 or 3 times than to do the 1900 in Gleim just one time.

MissMyFriends,

You are exactly right.  I have yet to do a simulated exam for REG or BEC.  I did not even do any of the practice simulations.  I wish I would have because I would not have been borderline, but nevertheless I passed.

In reference to your statement about doing the MCQ's from Becker 2-3 times and understanding why you get a question incorrect is the most important thing to do as far as I am concerned.
