I am planning to take BEC and REG ... If I go for Wiley Books and Gleim CD ,will this be fine ??? ...

I am scared of simulations ... and I heard that Gleim CD doesnt have any sims ... So is it ok if I practice only from Wiley book or do I need to practice more from the CD ??? ...

The only way to find out whether the Wiley Books and Gleim CD are sufficient is to use them and await your score. If you can understand everything in the Wiley book and be able to apply it, you'll do fine. However, since the exam assumes you still know the stuff you learned in college, you would probably do well to supplement your studies for FAR with Accounting by Horngren.

Has any one tried Wiley CD 14.0?  It didn't work after I updated SQL2005 SP1.

suk, a lot of my friends who have taken the CPA exam don't practice sims.  They look at the sims to get a feel for them but most feel that they are either a "know them or you don't" and then subject is always different so practicing is a waste.  Just what I've heard.

Those using wiley.  Approx how many MCQ's do you do before starting the next chapter?  is 20-30 enough and then do a lot more 2-3 weeks before the exam?  I'm actually using lambers which has less MCQs after the chapters and am wondering if I should bring in some MCQs from Wiley to supplement after each CH or wait till the end.

anyone have this book from Wiley: http://www.amazon.com/Wiley-Examination-Review-Problems-Solu tions/dp/0470278943/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1 242338103&sr=8-3

I'm using outdated Wiley books (the 4 volume set) for MCQ's (2006) and wonder if this book would be a useful upgrade.  I suspect many of the MCQ's would overlap...

I purchased the Wiley online cpa e-prep.  I didn't like it.  The layout is terrible. Also, even in exam mode, you have to wait until the end to see the answers to questions that you missed.  Also, you don't have the option of taking an entire practice exam like you can on the Wiley CD.

Finally, I called during the free trial period and told them that wanted a refund and to cancel the membership.  Followed it up with an email stating the same. Still showed up on my credit card---twice.

Bottom line:  I like the Wiley books a lot and I used them to pass AUD.  I like the CD, too.  The online e-prep gets a big thumbs down.
