I used Wiley for FAR, but in conjunction with the Yaeger lecture series. There definitely are some typos (erroneous #s) in some of the computations, which admittedly was frustrating for those few problems; however, this is greatly mitigated by the quality of the text, explanations, and relevance of material. The review program I used pointed out most typos during the lectures so you would have the correct answers. I mostly concentrated on those problems, so it wasn't so bad. The material to be covered within the FAR section of the exam is so vast, the typos really are a negligible portion of the material in the Wiley text. I can only think of one pension simulation in the Wiley text that had some wrong #s in the solution which got me really flustered. The corrections were not pointed during the lecture; can't remember it may have been one I did on my own. Wiley did publish an update though. Point is, I wouldn't let a handle of typos preclude you from using the product.
Now I will say the Wiley 14.0 software was "glitchy". There were some typos here and there with some of the #s, particularly in some of the problems that required to to use numbers from multiple years. For example, in order to get the correct answer you had to change the year for some of the numbers you used. I had problems running it on one computer in my home and if you were trying to calculate your cumulative percentage correct for all the modules, some of the calculations in their diagnostics report were not operational. Simulations in the software were good and representative of the format on the CPA exam, but you had to enter your numbers in the exact format the program was looking for or it counted it wrong as far as your score.
