I agree with you guys...get the monster out of the way first, which to me is FAR.

Once that's done, I think I'm going to do BEC as I've heard, correct me if I'm wrong, that they are going to include sims next year. Not in the first or second window, but later. Gosh...don't want to add another stress. No sims is good for me.

Guys...Yaeger people told me that there're going to be MAJOR changes for FAR in window 3. Yikes....I'd better pass before that happens. I'm taking FAR hopefully in the 1st window.

Hey Folks,

One thing to consider though before taking FAR first, is if you don't pass the other sections in time, you would need to retake the first one over. I did BEC, FAR, REG and AUD - it really worked well for me. If I didn't make it in the 18 month span, I'd hate to have to do FAR over. I'd rather do BEC again.

Being a guy who hadn't studied accounting for 20 years, each previous section helped with next one. I got everything passed in 15 months.

I guess I should change my sig. I did the best on Audit out of all of them.

I am looking for an opinion on what exam schedule next. I am taking my first CPA exam FAR on Feb-27, like many others I do not feel confident; however I am studying/reviewing a lot.

I though that IF I have to take FAR again I want to do it inmediatly, but I will not start studying right away without knowing my score, instead I will focus in AUD (another $1K for Becker).

Anyway I think I will then take FAR and AUD in the same window (two or three weeks apart).  FAR should be a GOOD review only.

Any comments will be appreciated.

I would recommend REG next, because its 2nd toughest and also there are areas that you might feel familiar, like M1 reconciliation is there in REG as well, also partnerships and corporations.
