What year is your book? 2009 added some IT stuff and other areas which Yaeger covers in their CRAM course, and plus the CRAM CD goes off the book. Some of this new stuff was on the exam. I used 2009 Cram with Wiley 2009 book. If you are sitting in January, Yaeger told me 2009 would work.. Not sure about BEC though, as I was asking about FAR.

I take my second crack at this exam on Monday (2/1/10), and I think I'm more concerned this time than I was last time.  I gave myself 2 full weeks to re-study for this one, since it is fairly short compared to AUD and FAR.  I also scored a 72 on the first attempt, so I didn't think it would take too much work for me to press out another 3 points.  I'm starting to think that was wrong.  Time will tell though, as I still have all weekend to really hit the topics I'm weak in.

For my first attempt, I would listen to all of the DVDs from Yaeger and then outline the chapters so I could emphasize the key points/concepts of each chapter.  I did very few multiple choice questions, as my concern of memorizing all of the formulas seemed to focus.  This attempt has been more multiple-choice-question-driven, as I've worked through every question on the Wiley CPA Review software, and am now re-viewing the DVDs and working the problems in the book.  Even with that much work, I still don't feel like I'm absorbing it all.  I swear, FAR felt easier than this...
