Hey All
First timer with BEC.  Just took REG last Friday.  I'm just going to guess I failed, because I rather not enter the score waiting game frustration mixed with anxiety.  Must use that concentrate studying BEC...woot!

I'm using Becker Review.  Taking it Nov. 5th.

Question:  Is BEC timing crucial as REG?  Thanks!

Hi B,

I technically used many different sources. LOL.. I was a
bit confused on what I needed to know so I kept changing
my study materials. One thing that I did notice is that
the information is basically the same but the way it is
presented is different. I started off with Kaplan, then
switched to borrowed Becker material, ended up using
Yaegar Cram session as the last resort. I basically
studied it for 4 days and it got much better. Some how
Yaegar did what it promised and stuff started to click.
The calculations were to me the same as in the book. I
didn't see any of the really hard ones. I think in total
I had maybe 15 calculations in total.

If you have a base knowledge of all the chapters you will be fine.  The calculations aren't really that bad, and most of the questions are straightforward.  I'm just wondering if it will be graded harshly because it sounds like everyone did pretty well.  I'd rather it have been more in depth.

Should I be concerned that I just got an email from NASBA with a CPA Exam Checklist & Tips pdf, and I've never gotten this before? I've spent the last year taking this exam, and took my last section last weekend, and just NOW they're sending me a checklist and tips. Why now?
