Yep, good to do as many MCQs as possible and make sure you understand each well that you get wrong or feel the least bit shaky on.
If you want more study tips, here is a (mostly) copy and paste of one of my previous posts when others asked me. They worked well enough for AUD, FAR and REG. We'll see in another month and a half if they did the trick for BEC.
I try to make sure I know all the material in the review materials very well. I read and do all the MCQs and sims in my main review book (Bisk) at least twice, once when I first start studying for a section, and then another time after I have worked through other materials. I go through a few particularly troublesome areas three times. As I do each practice problem, I try to make sure I understand why the correct choice is correct and why the others are wrong. I review any area that I feel at all shaky on. It is important to do as many MCQs as possible, and practice sims to a lesser extent. Practice makes perfect.
I use multiple sources to make sure I cover as much material as reasonably possible, as well as to see topics presented in different ways. My main material is Bisk 2009-2010 edition, but I also have 2006 Becker textbooks (except I can't find the BEC one for the life of me!), MCQs and flashcards, as well as free Wiley software I got from http://www.wiley.com/college/uopcpa thanks to someone else on this board who posted about this. I also do the problems on cpareviewforfree.com. However, if you are short on time, the cpareviewforfree problems should be of lowest priority. If you get the Wiley software from the above link, you need to be especially alert for REG, because some of the bankruptcy and tax numbers are outdated. Note that I did not use the Wiley software or cpareviewforfree.com for AUD because I did not hear about them until after I had already passed AUD.
I try to read all of the posts on the forum for the section I'm studying for. I try to work out any problems people post, then read people's responses. If nobody else has posted a response, or none of the responses are satisfactory, I try to answer as many questions as time allows. I am usually happy to help explain things, and not entirely for altruistic reasons; one of the best ways for me to learn something is to teach it to someone else.
