Guys, I sat for the exam on Nov 7 for FAR. The post from Cpanet says that if you appear before 7th of second month then you are in the first wave. Does that mean I will have my results in the second wave. Anyone with an answer. Thanks

It can include the 7th.

In TN they will let you sit if your 200 days out from meeting the academic requirements(150 hours).

I thought passing it before I graduate or at least passing parts of it before hand would surely enable me to land a job before or by graduation. It hasn't worked out at all. I think I've emailed somebody at every decent size firm in Nashville. No Luck. I even got turned down for an internship at Crowe Horwath without even an interview. lol..I guess I'm not qualified to be an intern either.

It's hard to say whether passing cpa exams is a big plus for job hunting or not. Some of my friends said it helps because firms laid off people who can't pass them. But....one of my friend was laid off right after she passed all four parts. I think passing cpa is one thing at least we can do right now other than waiting for a job....
