Top 5 Life-Changing Lessons from the CPA Exam

Guys! I work full time and have a kid. i was able to pass 3 parts by now. Waiting for final result for an AUD. i started June 1st and finished Nov 11. English my second language and when i studied for business law i had vocabulary next to me. I learned if you really want it you can do IT:) We have a saying "Who wants looks for way to make it possible, who doesn't want looks for reasons why it’s not possible".

Don't waste your time crying about it being tough just go and do it!!!

1. Don't try to guess how your test will be scored.

2. CPA net is a great place to commiserate and find help.

3. Supplement your CPA review with another CPA exam prep material.

4. Review the AICPA release questions.

5. Learn to have a short memory. If you don't pass, move forward. Thinking about that 73 or 74 isn't going to change anything. Just keep plugging away for the next opportunity to pass.  

1. It's not tough.

2. Never listen to most people's opinion, the population is normally distributed, most things you hear are wrong.

3. Spend ever hour of your day productively.

4. Schedule the test immediately so you can move on to bigger and better things.

5. Certifications don't necessarily make you any better than someone without it.
