If you go own the AICPA website it says that the CPA exam is not curved! That is bull crap. It is a computerized test. If it was not curved you would get your grade the next day!!! You get it back 2-3 weeks later because it is curved one way or another. Doesnt take a genius to figuer that out.

The exam is curved, despite what anyone says. I think they weight questions differently to achieve the result, rather than merely adjusting everyone's performance to fit a standard bell curve.
I got a 97 on the FAR exam and am sure that I wouldn't have scored a 97% on a similar non weighted paper test.

I been told by few people that it is curved, and iisnt it amazing that the % that pass is between 45-55%???
