Only around 10%???? Are you sure?
I thought it was a lot more than that. Three of my neighbors are CPAs and they all claimed they passed on their first try. My cousin is a CPA who also claimed he passed all parts on the first attempt. And all of my accounting instructors that I had in college all claimed they passed all parts on the first try.
So, basically, I have not met any CPA that said they failed a section, lol. And notice I used the word "claimed" in my statements above because I'm only going by what those people said. I have not seen any proof that they did indeed pass on the first try. But then again, why would they lie? They passed and that's all that should really matter. So, I'm taking their word for it.
So, since A LOT of CPAs told me they passed on the first try, I was expecting more than 10%. I'm shocked and confused at that percentage.
