I am correct that the initial announcement of score releases are done via twitter? Nothing so far from http://twitter.com/nasba

Also does anyone have advice on retaking a test you failed, I failed reg (70) and it was all because of the sim, I actually did stronger and comparable in everything else. Do I start from scratch and use new notebooks or keep my original notes and just stay with the same strategy since I was so close and I know it had to be the simulation that put me under a 75. I am excited about the new CBT-e but am so confused about how to restart my studying.

I was upset at first about the close score, but its just fueling my motivation for the retake. (I am just hesitant that I don't need to put in as much effort as I am with re-taking notes/re-making flash cards, any suggestions?)

Thanks!

Hey OZZMAN,

This is probably stuff you have heard before, but I would
make sure you understand itemized deductions very well
and vs. adjustments.  For charitable contributions, know how  donated items are valued.  Like would you use the cost or FMV.  Also, AMT - make sure you know which items are preference vs adjustments vs "ACE."   Make sure you read the 2010 released questions AND the simulation. Oh, and know which items are on a K-1.
I studied pretty hard for the exam, but it was all review stuff for me.

Good luck!

Thanks............ no matter how much I study, in my dreams would I ever be able to score a 97!

Good luck to you as well!!
