I would recommend skimming the essay topics available in whatever testing materials you have. Read through 8 or 10 essays & it will help you.

Thanks for the advice. Seems like there isn't too much new work to do.

One of my W/C for BEC was identical to one of my W/C that I received in FAR which I find to be very strange. Perhaps it was a pre-test W/C for BEC? Who knows...

I wrote BEC today. My prep was Becker 2010 material plus my own individual reading on COSO and SOX for the new corporate governance. Relatively speaking I put in less time than recommended (because I'm older and have a lot of life/work experience related to the subject matter). The exam was about what I expected with nothing surprising. Becker turned out to be very good preparation. In my last week, I re-read the book instead of drilling MCs and I'm glad I did so. Reading the ancillary materials turned out to be worthwhile for me. There were fewer calculations than I had expected today, which was disappointing for me since I'm much better with calcs than tricky word/definitions. My three WCs were all straightforward and not unusual (I passed FAR and AUD last fall so that material was fresh for me). I feel about how I did last fall so I will be happy if I passed BEC today but not surprised if I end up with 74 either. I left Prometric feeling borderline about my prospects. I'm hopeful my clean and brief writing skills will get me those few extra points to pass...

Quick question: did you have any access to any authoritative literature when you did the WC's? In the past, those helped a bit with AUD, FAR, and REG. If not, were there any tools or resources that were of with with the WC?
