Further to your question about working as a CPA in Canada, Manoj, here are
the general guidelines. You can not put CPA on your business card unless
you are also a Canadian CA or CGA. However you can state that you are CPA
on your resume and this can be helpful in finding employment in Canada as
there are many companies that wish to hire U.S. CPAs.

If by practice, you mean that you want to work in a public accounting firm
and sign off on audits then you would need to become a Canadian CA or in
some provinces, CGAs can also sign off on audits.

Hi Leslie

I tried sending you an email two days ago. But I got a notification today saying the message wasn't delivered. I'll post my query here instead...

Thank you for your earlier reply (http://www.cpanet.com/cpa_forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=37809&a mp;PN=1). As I mentioned before, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, from a reputable Indian university in Dubai. In this part of the world, most bachelor's degrees are three years full time. I have a total of 108 credits, and my major was Finance. I wasn't aware that the eligibility requirements were changing in Delaware. Now I'm really confused about what other options I have.

Please advise me on what courses I can take in order to become eligible to write the CPA exam. Apart from M. Com, are there any other courses that I can enroll in? I recently found a
professional certification program in Accounting titled, "PG Diploma in Accounting". It covers all the important topics related to accounting. Will this be sufficient? Also, I'm currently doing CMA, and hope to get my certification later this year. Will that help me in any way?
