I am also using TaxAct from last two years, That's really nice and much comfortable then others. Cool software with various features.
I think this is the proper one.

I came accross other websites, a software named TradeMax is now giving out free registered code , it supports large quantity data imports directly from online brokers and also supports handle transactions in individual account or accross combined accounts.

If you do it at no charge, you are not considered a "preparer" according to the IRS. You will not need a PTIN, as you could have your friends and family sign it as self prepared. If you plan on becoming a professional preparer get you PTIN.
