We all know, or should have known, that with the new testing format, there were going to be changes.  Changes not only in testing format but in how the scores were going to be released.  I was originally scheduled to sit for the Audit exam on Jan 4, 2011, however, in late December, when I found out the scores were not going to be released in the 2 waves we have all been used to, I decided to reschedule the exam to the end of Feb.  This gave me more time to study, which, as it turned out wasn't such a good thing. More time equalled more procrastination!

The point is I took the opportunity to reschedule the exam so I wouldnt have to wait as long......so those of you who chose not to reschedule just need to sit back and be patient...the scores will come.  It's not as though there isnt another topic you can move onto if you have another section to prepare for.  I know it's hard to focus on another not knowing about the one pending!!

We should be thankful though.......in the past the requirement was to sit for all 4 and if you didnt pass at least 2 on that sitting you didnt get credit for any!  Also, we have the option of taking the exam 8 months out of the year.....again, in the past it was only offered in May and November! 

It would be far easier to be patient if AICPA or NASBA were a little more explicit and a little less cryptic as to when the scores are to be released.  I don't care if they do it the 31st, just frikken tell us so there's no guess work! 

And, no, I can't just pretend that the scores are going to be released the 31st in an effort to ease my mind.  I will always have the fact that it could be any day now in the back of my mind due to our lovely governing bodies being too scared to throw out a date some might hold them accountable to!
