I have passed all four sections of the cpa exams but currently I am not working under the supervision of a cpa. Is there a time limit on when to get the cpa license after passing the exams? Any consequence of not obtaining the license within the timeframe?

Would be glad if you can provide me a link on where I can read about this.

In Georgia, your CPA Exam credits do not expire. I found the info on my
state's Board of Accountancy website. Check with your state.

I'm under the same boat too. It sucks having to wait a whole year for something you worked so hard for. Oh well, at least the hard part of passing is out of the way.
