I just got my results back from taking FAR for the first time - did not pass. My Becker software expires 11/30/11 and I lose the first exam that I passed on 2/29/12. With that said, I have one testing window to get FAR knocked out and passed. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should purchase and/or use to be done with FAR and get through the exam?

CPAtimenow: I studied with Yaeger Home study( videos, audiocram, lecture notes); Cindy Simpson is superb; I also used Wiley CPA Review book, Wiley Focus Notes. Governmental and not for profit need repeated study, as, much of it was difficult for me to grasp and memorize/ internalize. My view is more attention has to be paid to Sims (TSBs) by practising them; in the real exam, we have to be careful about the way the question (MCQ) is worded, use of least/most, 'not' etc. For TSBs, sound knowledge of Journal entries would be helpful. A sound grounding of FAR will definitely help in AUD also. Also making our own notes will be helpful on the eve of exam. -=-=- Passed FAR and BEC in April 2011, REG in Aug 2011 and AUD in Nov 2011.
Thank you nambivar. I passed AUD the first time around, but wasn't so lucky with FAR. I actually have the Yaegar lecture and such from 2009 so could probably supplement with that and just make sure that I know updates and IFRS also. Congrats on passing all!
