Just got the FAR score:88!!   This is my second try (the first try ended up with a 73), I am in NC. I took FAR on Nov. 28, 2011, AICPA kept its words, it's so sweet that I can get my score just in a week or two. Finally I am all done of four parts.

Good luck to everyone who is trying, hang in there, trust me, you will get there! I will post a detailed experiences later.

I completely understand your feeling now, since I have gone through that three times, but trust me, have confidence, work the work, you will eventually get there.

Good luck.

Just looked at my results for the Nov. 30 exam......56! Uggggggg! Third failing grade on FAR. Answered over 1000 MCQ in Gliem and studied my handwritten notes. Any advice????

Need some motivation.

You used gleim for the three times ?? If so, please change.

Sorry to hear about the result. I tried in 2008 with Yaeger Homestudy; for FAR, Cindy taught almost the entire course except for a small piece on [not for profit] by Gary. I found Gary was good in his area and Cindy was simply superb in all her areas. They use Wiley CPA review. After failing once, and picking the thread in 2011, I started again with Wiley 2011 book. I could pass in April 2011. When we get our result, it will tell us how we performed in MCQ and TBS and may be in each sub area. This will give a general idea to fortify the weak areas but do not lose sight of other areas because we have to appear again and we do not know how it will be this time.
Also, you may take up in this forum, specific questions you are not clear about and there may be willing friends to help us. Yes we find it hard to overcome the despondent feeling but we can overcome and we must, because, our aim is to pass all 4 papers and become a CPA.

Passed B and F 04/11, R 08/11 and A 11/11. Best wishes.
