Hi,
I was in corporate
banking, and due to several layoffs. I’ve
decided to switch to accounting. I have
the following questions:
1)
Should I get into Public or Private
Accounting? Is it too late for Public
Accounting since I am now 32 years old.
2)
In what months are the Public Accounting firms
(big 4 ) will post hiring for their entry-level position?
3)
I would like exposure to a variety such as
Auditing, financial statement preparations, tax, so I can see which I would like
best, how can I do this?
4)
Is it tough to get into Public Accounting from
Private Accounting and vice versa?
5)
How do I get my foot into any public accounting
firm of any size with out accounting experience?
6)
How should I present my past experience with the
Bank on my resume to obtain a Public Accounting position? What should I say when they asked so why did
you leave the Corporate Banking industry?
Thank you
