I recently passed the exam under CA, the pathway that requires 120
hrs and 2 hrs experience. I plan to get licensed in CA and then apply
for reciprocity in Texas. It looks like I will have the 30 hrs of
accounting and the 24 hrs of business courses required for Texas but
my cumulative college credit is only 132. As a CA CPA, willl I really
have to take an additional 18 hours of, in theory, any type of college
course to get a Texas license?? That just doesn't make any sense to
me. Has anyone done this...recently?

Hi Flomari. I am on the same both as you are... and would really be interested to find answers too... we have the same credit hours based on texas state board but i have 157 under CA.. It is so frustrating...would be glad if anyone can shed a light on our doubts.
