I have a question about the 18-month period.  I sat for REG on 11/21/07 and passed.  I would think that my credit for REG would expire on 5/21/09, but I received my notice from NASBA and it states that REG expires on 5/31/09.  I am currently signed up to take my last section, FARE, on 5/29/09.  Is this okay, or do you think I should reschedule and take FARE on 5/21/09?

Thanks!

So I was reading the interview with the AICPA and this really pissed me off!   Read below.  Obviously if a lot of people are unhappy they either need to A- lengthen the window, B- score quicker.  IMO it should never take more than 2 months to get a score.  And imo having the window be 24 months wouldn't hurt either.  For some people busy season is a solid 4-5 months and then another 1-2 months of semi busy season where it's *almost* impossible to study.

sigh.  just venting I guess!

I agree with you regarding the timing of scores and also the actual expiration of exam scores.  It was very difficult for me to get any good results while working in PA since I was super busy all the time,,,but,,,a lot of people do pass with crazy schedules along with infants and ill family members to take care of.

I hate how you have to wait a full month (if not longer) to get your score back so your left in the dark on whether to start studying your next exam or jump back into your most recent exam material.  I do agree with the response regarding taking two sections in one window but in my line of work that is just no possible (and actually pass) but for those that don't work and can allocate study time to the exam as a full time job then I think thats the best approach.  I would also love to see them extend the window to 24 months.

BUT - I don't make the rules, so for the time being I just have to play by them.
