Hello Everybody

I am new to this forum, I have a question and I really need some help,

I passed 3 parts of the CPA exams (FAR, BEC, and AUD) and I still have to take REG.

My First Credit will expires on Oct 22, 2010(FAR) and am trying to do my best to finish the REG part before my FAR CR. Expires since the FAR part was a nightmare for me and I REALLY do not want to retake it again.

My question is:

I am suppose to Take REG on Aug 31, when is the latest date that the scores will be released? In case that I fail, Will I have enough time to register and retake the REG part again before OCT 22?

Will I be better off just to take the exam sometime in October ( and forget about Aug 31) and avoid having the risk that I wouldn’t have time to register and retake the exam?

Anyone who have some helpful info, please advice

God bless and Good luck to everyone!

How about New York?

i passed my first section on Jan 30, 2009.  My score notification states that it expires on Aug 31, 2010.  I have contacted the NY coordinator by email.  He confirmed that the 18-month rolling period starts on the last day of the window i took my exam.  I am not sure to trust him or not.  I see that a lot of you guys are saying that the 18-month window starts on the date of exam taken.

Anyone from New York can confirm it?

Thanks a lot

It should say on the letter that you receive when you pass a part of the exam when the credit expires.   I'm in NY and my letter says my BEC credit will expire on 9/30/10.

Just called NJ State board of accountancy who referred me to:  866-350-0017 [NASBA?] -- they said the window cbegins the DAY YOU TAKE THE EXAM [which contradicts what I received in writing from NASBA when i received my score in the mail]

and tNJ score will be released ON MARCH 31ST

hi,

What if i take all 4 sections in one testing window then fail 3. Can i take the remaining unpassed section next testing window until 6 months expiration og NTS?????

and are u just paying for one NTS which is valid for six months regardless of how many exams you take..

You can only take the exams once PER NTS.  You have to buy a new NTS everytime you re-take an exam.  If your NTS if valid for six months, it is only good for that section ONCE in the six month period.
