In regards to the18 Month testing window.  Because of the extra time the AICPA is taking to release scores from an exam I took in the first few days in January it has left me in limbo.  I'm studying for the next section but it leaves very little time to prepare to retake the exam when I won't find out if I pass until days before the next testing  window opens.  Yet the 18 months clock it ticking while the AICPA has all the time in the world to grade an exam when it is computerized with no written section.  If they release scores the last week of March we are looking at a week short of three months to get results.  Although, I have heard the results are going to be in fablous detail, can't wait........

If a candidate gives the last exam before the last day of credit expiry and
passes that section, when does the expired section status changes to credit.
I mean do we have to call the board or it happens automatically & if so in
how many days.

Thanks.

Does anyone know if the AICPA grants extensions on the 18 month window rule for unusual circumstances.  I will be in africa for 3 months on a mission trip, and won't be able to bring anything along with me.  Any idea if they allow a delay on the 18 month window?

I have never heard of an extension for a trip out of the country.
