The 18 months commences from the date you sat the exam, although often the expiry date is rounded up to the end of the relevant month or testing window - don't rely on this though as this may not always apply.

You can take your final section up to and including 4/1/09 and although you will get your score after that date, as long as you gained credit you will be considered to have passed all 4 parts within 18 months

Wouldn't 18 months be 5/1/09 and not 4/1/09?

Yes it would be 5/1/09 (or 4/30/09, I don't know how that "last day" works.)

You have to take all the exams before your 18 month window expires.  If not then you will lose credit for any exams that are older than 18 months.  It does not matter when you receive the score as long as you take it before your credit expires.

Don't know if this has been answered but i'm really confused about how the 18 months window works in NY.  I heard several different things soo i hope someone here can help me base on their past experience. Do you have to pass all 4 section within 18 months once you received your NTS  or does it start when you actually pass your first exam????  Thanks.
