Hi,
I am new to this form. I live in Texas. But if I have to
take exam here I am short of Ethics requirement course.
Since I have Masters in Accounting from Massachusetts,
they will let me take exam there immediately without
further delay. If I have to apply through Texas then I
will have to wait until the third window. My question is
has anyone transferred their CPA credits either partial
or full before getting license from another state to
Texas. Or have anyone transferred their license from
another state to Texas. How was the process, please
provide me with details. I searched and got to this
information pasted below which was very confusing. I
don't understand if I have meet the educational req. at
the time the credit was obtained in Texas or in the state
where I took the exam. Please any help will be good.

of-credit-education.html
From TSBPA:
To be eligible to transfer credits earned in another
licensing jurisdiction to Texas, the applicant must meet
the same education requirements that were in effect at
the time credit was earned in the other jurisdiction. The
following chart may be helpful in determining if you meet
the education requirements.
NOTE: All areas of the education requirements must be met
at the time initial credit was earned as an applicant of
another licensing jurisdiction. Deficiencies in education
may not be completed while taking the CPA Exam.
Thanks in advance.
