I recently finally passed the CPA exam and was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to receive the congratulatory letter?  I need it in order to get reimbursed from my employer.

I was looking on the NASBA website and noticed that they say I should receive a letter from CPA exam services about 6 weeks after the close of the window that I passed my final section in.

I called my board of accountancy and they said they send a letter out about 2 and a half months after the close of the testing window when they receive the info from the AICPA.

Anyone know if I get one letter from CPA exam services and another from my board?  Or is the board talking about the same letter as the NASBA site.  Anyone have experience with how long it took to recieve theirs?  This forum was very helpful during the process and good luck to everyone.

I received a congratulatory letter from CPA Exam Services today. I passed my last section in December (found out 12/23, taken on 11/25).  That's less than a month.

I took the exam through Massachusetts. I'm actually in
NY now, but I know that's not what you're asking.
