I don't know what to do with all the extra time, so I've been going to the gym and just about any concert that I have even a slight interest in. I've lost 20 lbs. Went on 2 clothing shopping sprees. I'm going to Peru this Summer.

I kinda don't miss the exam anymore. Although, it does feel like there's a hole in my life that still needs filled. I think I need to start a new band or something.

I have to say, I totally miss having to study for the exam. I keep on thinking I should buy the CMA study materials and go for it!! But then, other times I tell myself I should just focus the extra time and energy on my work at work. Anyone else think about the CMA certification?

I actually miss the exam, too.  This is the first time in my life I haven't had school (Finished MAcc) or the CPA to study for.  I'm now looking for other certifications / things to keep my going.  Learning Spanish at the moment, may enroll back in school and take four classes to earn my finance degree just because I love a good challenge.

I've strongly considered it, but I am unsure of whether or not tax work counts towards the experience.

I will not miss studying for the CPA exam. Although I have enjoyed the challenge and the disappointment. It has taught me I can learn with the best of them.

It will be nice doing some other things, like fixing up the house.

However, if I get a fire in my belly I will probably sit for the CMA although I sure won't study like the 20 hours a day I have done in the past.
