Hi
I would like to know some of the topics(chapters) in Regulation material. I have just started working as a tax preparer filing individual returns. (1040, sche A,C,E) I just need to know if my work knowledge will help me in preparing for the regulation exam in anyway. Would appreciate if anyone can reply to this so that I can buy the same. thanks in advance

I think having some knowledge will definetely help you understand some concepts. I do not have prior knowledge about tax but managed to learn the material in about 2 months of time and still learning, new things everyday. I think it is an added advantage to have real experience so that you visualise while learning the material.hope this helps.

Yes, you will be able to learn some important facts about individual taxation. I doubt you'll be preparing 1041s, 1065s, or 1120s as a tax preparer, but I could be wrong.
