I'm struggling to study right now.  Big time.  Exam is 1pm tomorrow.  I have to be on the road by 11am to make it on time.

I feel like I've been studying non-stop for the past 15 days and it is mentally starting to take its toll. I would say for every 10 minutes reading out of the Becker book I spend another 2-3 minutes staring at the wall.  I caught myself zoning out numerous times earlier today.  I forced myself to close the book and go to the gym for a few hours.  Hopefully this helps.

I've been averaging maybe 6 hours of sleep each night.  As of about 2 hours ago (I'm currently taking a break) I've logged 83.5 hours of study and I still have REG7 to review and the second Final Exam this evening.  I am assuming I will be around 88 hours before the night is finished.

ONE FINAL PUSH!!!!!! LETS GO!!!!!!

edit:  With that being said I have an excellent 4 day weekend upcoming!  I am planning on playing 72 holes of golf, grilling out, and spending time with friends and family.  My plan tomorrow is to go straight from the test center to the closest driving range and hit balls for a few hours.

I am going to take about 10 days off from studying and just work. Starting around 6/8 I will gear up and grind it out again for AUD on 7/1!

There is light at the end of the tunnel!

All the best, I know the feeling although I don't take REG 'til the first week of July but I'm still rushing to finish the tax section so I can start focusing on AUD, which I have in the next window as well. Hard work always pay off in the end.

Becker REG 5-6 is, as I read elsewhere, "mind numbing".

REG 7 isn't all that bad.  It is just a long section.

5 Weeks to study, with a goal of 16 hours a week, and 2-4 hours a week for review. 20 hours a week for 5 weeks for a total of 100 hours of study time to pass regulation. I don't plan to spend a large amount of time on the simulations since I am experienced in taxation. Most of this study time will be focused on the multiple choice questions.

My study plan for regulation:

June 13 – 20           Ethics, Property Transactions, Individual Tax (Strong area’s to begin with)
June 21 – 27           Corp, Partnership, S-Corp, Estate & Gift, Fiduciary tax  (Stong area)
June 28 – July 4   Business Law – Agency & Contracts (Weak area)
July 5 – 11               Articles & Bankruptcy (Weak)
July 12 – 17            Bankruptcy, federal security regulations, business structure (Weak area)

I plan to post each week's notes to each of these sections that I study. I only make notes on area's that are new to me or areas that I am weak in. I also create flashcards in Excel, if I have time I will try to share those as well.
