tho9504,

Congrats on your high score! Yes I remembered your exam feedback and infact was waiting for your post on your score...

The pressure is on me now as my exam is 2 weeks away and I"m kinda hard pressed for time..so do you have any words of advise as to how to split time between doing the becker passmaster and reading the book.

Ray,

Since every exam is different, don't quote me, but the consensus seems to that BEC is more theory focused than calculation based on other exam takers including myself. I would tell you to know COSO inside out. I also got hit with econ heavily which was kind of suprising for me. I would recommend that you read the chapters for non-calculation ones (IT,ECON,ERM,COSO). Unfortunately, chapter 3 and 5 have to be learned through practice by working M/C questions (Financial mgmt & Cost).

I read the chapters for IT,ECON,COSO from Becker, BISK at the book store and was still hit with questions from either book(must've been pre-test). I would recommend you read the chapters for these topics, again every exam is different so only take it for what it's worth.

Tho9504,

Thanks for your advice.. I'm really nervous as this is gonna be my first CPA exam but I'm lucky not to have any kind of family or job pressures(since I'm not working)...I just thought to give it my best shot and leave the rest to destiny and my luck!
