I have my BEC scheduled in October. I am eager to hear from other candidates as to how they divide their time between learning new material and revising what they have already learnt. What strategies do you use?

My concern is that by the time I reach to BEC 5, I might just forget everything what I've learnt in BEC 1-which is new to the syllabus and pretty heavily tested I believe. Any advices on how to go about it? Thanks in advance.

Hi.. Ray,

If possible try to study with a buddy.. Discussions on a particular subject between two individuals can be remembered easily. I am in Las Vegas and looking for a buddy. It is very hard to find one.  I do have the same memory problem. Now I am planing to buy a tape-recorder and read and record and repeatedly listen to it..

try it.. goood luck

Thanks, Krishna

Klspillai,

Thanks for your suggestion but I don't think that a study buddy would work for me. I guess just re-reading the material and redoing the passmaster questions are key to success!

Good Luck to you too!

I plan to do what I did for AUD - I used Roger, and laid out the modules
so that I had one week to do each one before the exam. I left my last
week "empty." Then I watched Roger's wrap-up review, and took my
notes and the book, and spent a few hours re-writing my notes from the
book into a cohesive outline of the material.

When I did Becker for FAR, by the time I was done with the last module, I
was done! I didn't do any sort of final review. I did do one simulation
exam.

I also did my own key flashcards with each and would take them with me
wherever I went. I'm not sure who you are using, but I will say that Roger
does a great job tying the material together and looping back to earlier
material - not so much that it's repetitive, but enough that you stay fresh.

Two days until my test and I feel the need to review
everything and no way to really get it all
organized....feeling overwhelmed.
