I just took a look at the sample testlet and had a question about the written communication portion. The software itself appears to plug in the "to" portion of the memo it wants you to write as well as a "re" portion which addresses the subject of the memo (these can't be removed or altered). If this is how the actual exam looks, it would seem to lock you in to a format that isn't a typical memo format. Are you supposed to add a "from" line below the "re", where you would put your name, or should you just add your name at the end, which isn't really how a memo looks? And I guess there won't be a traditional "subject" line since the "re" is already there for you. I take the test on tuesday and could really use some guidance on this, I need all the points I can get. Thanks.

you can get full credit on the memo with the wrong info in the body - i don't think the to/from header will be any concern to exam graders

My Becker professor specifically said that the TO AND FROM sections carry marks... so do the intro and the last para...so basically if you know nothing about what is being asked, you would be given partial credit for good headers, intro and the concluding paragraphs. And I believe that these could be the difference between a pass and a fail.
