I have gotten into one of the top five accounting schools but I need to take a couple prerequisites.  I can still take them over the summer at that school but I have the bar exam to still take this summer (JD to MaCC/MSA/MPA).   I dont know if it is feasible to move, start taking accounting courses and then study for the bar of my old state.

What is the best place/online school to take courses by long distance either online or not?  I just need two accounting courses.  I do not want to enroll in a whole program.  The community college of my hometown only offers one and the one in my school's town closes courses to nondegree people, it seems.

Welcome to the forum!  I'm interested in learning more about your background and what your goals are after accounting school.

U of P and Devry are not horrible.  They are accredited and should suffice for the prerequisites.

Otherwise, speak to all the admissions people you can in your area.  I'm sure they would know of something (whether at their school or not) that would work to your satisfaction.

LSU's Distance Learning program is $500 a class (or something like that). Can't beat that.

If you need to take an Auditing class, take LSU's online.  I took it and it is accredited, cheap, and quick to get done.
