I don't think that was the main point of the discussion. The main contention is that you would be able to network much more and take advantage of recruiting more if you're FT. The main reason to do PT is to get a promotion at a current job.

I know, but I was thinking a huge difference would have been more like 650 and 720. I still think you can get into NYU FT with 675 and great other credentials, but 650 is cutting it.
