The Big 4 have gotten to the point where they are too big
to fail (the government will not allow it) unless one of
the firms just does something blatantly stupid. Right now,
E&Y is just playing dumb, so unless something comes out
that shows they knew and chose to ignore it for monetary
reasons, this is just one they'll sweep under the carpet.

I don't think the Big 4 are too big to fail.  They are not banks and we do not depend on them for our credit market.  I think the govt. would let one of them fail in a heartbeat.

I don't think "failing" is the issue we are discussing with the Big 4.  More so, I think they are too large for the government to basically destroy them because of a few bad seeds or offices.  It wouldn't make sense.
