Hi,

I had an interview for an asset management associate in PWC NYC, about 3 weeks ago. They haven't contacted me, with any decision. I know that if they dont accept your resume online big 4 will send emails. Does anyone know if they do that for an actual interview? Also when I check my profile on the PWC website it says "in process" next the the asset management associate position. I don't know what to do. I have sent thank you emails to all the interviewers. Does anyone know how long big 4 can take to contact an experienced hire? Maybe since its august they are not going to call in new hires until november for training? Thanks in advance!

There's a chance you're still in the running but the probability shoots up after about two weeks that you didn't get it. It could be the case that they're still interviewing applicants, and that could really go either way, depending on how strong a candidate you are vs. whoever they interview.

So the answer is you might have the job, or you might not. I'm sure your gratitude for this bold assertion will be overwhelming.

Yes, that can be the case. You can check out prior posts where in the big 4 forum where people list their big 4 start dates. But i have heard for experience hire it may take longer than on campus.

I was just wondering how if u had any tips on how you got the experience interview. I heard its pretty hard to get interview if your not going thru On campus recruiting. What was your background? and how many years did you work?

thanks to both of you for such quick responses. I actually have about 3 years of experience, half is in private equity the other is in general public tax. I applied online.  Im in tax so I put in alot of key words on my resume, like the #s of alot of forms and key words related to private equity tax. I was extremely happy just for the interview as I wasn't picked in college and I always wanted to work at a Big4. it would be great to get an offer.
