I have both. The Wiley software came with my AUD Homestudy course that I ordered last week. I've been doing the questions along with my Gleim software. The MCQs are about the same difficulty as Gleim, but I found the simulations way too easy. I suspect the actual exam will be harder in that area because it's just too good to be true, lol. But Gleim is much more user-friendly, which is why I like it better. But I think both are messed up when it comes to spitting out random MCQs at you. I'm getting tested on topics that I don't suspect will be tested on the actual exam. Not to mention that both softwares have questions that are worded very strangely.

If I had to pick, I'd pick Gleim due to its better user interface.

CPA#1 thanks for the great info! probably they want the
users to know the ins and outs of the topic so the users
will be better prepared for the exams.

Actually im just getting this software for the Sims and for
familiarity with the CBT interface, the MCQS are just
addition for the purchase.
Thanks for that info! Goodluck to us! probably we'll be
testing in the same window Aug and Nov :)

Wiley questions are a great prep.  I found them more difficult than actual exam questions.  Do and re-do Wiley and you will pass!

I liked the MCQ interface with the Bisk software...really user friendly on keeping track of your progress.

Hi, i see you passed on the first try for all 4.  Can you tell me your study process & if you just used Wiley?  Also, were you working?
thanks

Hey everyone, I was about to order the Wiley 2011 Test Bank but did not know if the MCQs and Simiulations for this are the SAME as those they have in their 4 books.  I am certain the Test Bank would have some of the same questions if not all of them at a bare minimum, although I am uncertain if they have materially more MCQs and Simulations that are different than those that are contained in their books.  If anyone know had experience using both the books and their Test Bank, your knowledge would help me with this purchase.  Thanks.

@mocella

I didn't pass on the first attempt the first time around!  I was using a self study module format and it did not work for me!

Here is what worked: I enrolled in the Roger CPA Review program and studied one section at a time.  The Roger program involved leaving my house each Saturday and going to a location for a full day of review.  I would then spend the remainder of the week reviewing that material and answering question after question after question in both the Wiley book and Wiley software.  After the lectures were over (2 to 5 Saturdays depending on the section) I spent another week or two doing intensive review before sitting for the exam.  This process proved to be very successful for me.  I found I needed to be in a classroom setting for my review and that combined with Roger's awesome teaching/review techniques were invaluable to me.

Knowing what works for you is key.  Good luck!
