PinkCPA,

Yeah, I cannot figure it out either. My state IL issues us once we pass all 4 parts and take the ethics exam a certification that we are Certified Public Accountants and sends us a wall certificate. Yet we are not allowed to hold ourselves out to the public as CPA's till we get a license from the IL Dept of Financial & Prof. Regulation.

Is it necessary for my supervisor to have an active license
in order for him to sign off on my one year work experience
requirement?
