hi bhagyesh & Hello cocacpa,

Need your assistance. Are you both of you in US or outside
USA. I would like to ask whether lawful presence IN USA
is required for getting COLORADO CPA LICENSE.

Thanks in advance

Sorry i am not regularly coming to this site.
It's NOT required to be in the US in order to get CPA license. I am not in the U.S. actually, I never lived or studied or worked in the U.S., but I just got my CPA license approved by the board, but still waiting for my CPA license card to come in.

1) Can you please let me know are we supposed to get our
evaluation done again through the evaluation agency under
the clause "education in lieu of experience" or simply
send the application to colorado state board of
accountancy?

Hi sparrow,
I may answer this particular question for you.
In my case is different from bhagyesh. My education did not get reevaluated by any evaluation agency again since I told them it's done with my CPA examination application (course by course) and the evaluation agency already sent a copy to the state board directly. Luckily, they accepted my explanation, not asking for redoing it.
You may call them to explain the same thing, see if it works for you.
Good luck!
