So all goes to OCI, thanks man for your help!, one last
question, how do you access the codification and search
for specific treatment? I used it only in Becker when I
studied FAR

ilysaml I have already mentioned in a previous reply in this thread that many big accounting firms publish guidance; much information is available about these by using search engines; I use google. for example, type in asc consolidation in google and you will get many hits; a little perusal of the various sites which come up tells us that asc 810 deals with consolidation, that there is something different for asc consolidation for variable interest entities and there are guidance brochures by accounting firms etc. But, as a CPA candidate, hard pressed for time, the first source would only be the text we use and/or other study materials; I used Wiley's book and Yaeger CPA review [FAR was by Cindy, excellent presentation; she also was for BEC, incomparable].
