Texas takes longer.  Upon passing the exam, I got a big package for certification requirements and fee.  I turned it in On December 29th.  They updated my status on their website yesterday showing I satisfied all licensing requirements.  They will send me a form for licensing fee later this week.  Once I send that fee, don't know how long it will take then.

However, the delay could also be due to the fact that I flunked the Professional COC exam first time around - I scored 80 where as I needed 85 to pass.  I received an email from an Inspector in Licensing departments along with a new test.  I turned that in the same day and passed it with a 92 in first week of January.  They updated my certification status yesterday.  Can't wait to get my license.  I am dying to put "CPA" in front of my name in my resume and business cards:)

Good news, I called the Office of the Professions (mainly to make sure my employer submitted the 4B - I had heard horror stories from coworkers of the business manager forgetting to send the form in for months), and they said that my application is being processed and I should be on the website by the end of next week!
