Hey guys,

Can you explain me how you can research something for a simulation tab question....(besides a genuine reserach question).

For Reg i only had 3 hours and last time i tried to reserach on it, i was loosing time for other tabs and hence could not finish 1 tab. Is it better to do research and get close to a correct answer and leave some of them blank. Or try to attempt all the tabs and then go back and research?? I can see this possible with Audit or FARE since they are 4 hr,but on regulation my testlets was medium to difficult , i had to spend good time for MCQ's too.

I learned this the hard way. Never leave anything blank on the CPA exam.
What I did today was answer allocate about 40 min for each testlet, which
leaves about 2 hours for sims. When I got to sims I answered each tab to the
best of my ability and at the end went back to the ones I had doubt about
and doubled checke my work.
the key here is using proper words and to drill down to the section you know
the info is in. I cannot tell you this will work as I don't know how I did yet.
Good luck!!

Always put yourself under time pressure for all 4 testlets.  On FAR I finished 20 minutes early and 45 minutes early on AUD.

For research questions, do a general search and then make use of the search within tool provided.  If you have Becker, you'll know what I mean.
