Hey Guys

Congrats to you both..........

I take REG in a couple of weeks.  I am struggling, believe it or not, with the LAW part.  I am doing pretty good on the TAX sections but man, I just can't grasp some of the concepts under UCC law.

Any recommendations how I should do my final review?  Should I be really concerned??

Thanks and GOOD LUCK!!!!

I felt the exact same way.  All that stuff was completely new to me and I really struggled with it... I would say take extra time to just read through the book and make notes on scratch paper to frequently look at.  The lectures and questions are nice, but when youre having trouble grasing them, it sometimes helps to read through it at your own pace.  I was pleaseantly suprised with the amount of questions in this area on my test.

I scored 2 times 74 in REG. I will be stuck in the CPA exam for another 2-3 months. It seems one week full time study is not enough for REG, while this method works for me on all other 3 parts. Let me go back to the primary school and do things step by step...

Ouch!!!  That is tough.....hang in there.  Where do you think you could have done better?  I have been studying since January.  I don't think this part is a gimme at all.  I see people studying 3 or 4 weeks and scoring in the 90's..........more power to them.

I don't have that level of aptitude....I study hard but just pull enough to pass.

Good luck to you and be strong....... you'll pass

Hello,

Congrats for passing the exam with awesome score. I got 70 and then 71 in my regulation exam and now my 18 month window for the BEC has expired so i have to write that as well...yeah i know its really depressing.

Anyways I wanted your help on how to prepare for regulation. apparently there is something i am not doing right and maybe you can help me. I did all the becker and wiley questions and make my own notes. I was scoring 80 plus in my sample exams and questions. I dont know what went wrong the last time i wrote in feb window.

My question to you is how did you prepare for the exam. What would you suggest me? Giving the exam twice now, I can say that I dont have to read everything again because i still remember some stuff. Would you suggest reading the book all over again (I have wiley 2011 material and honestly the verbiage is much difficult to understand if you have not heard a simpler version of the topic) or should i just go through the notes and practice the questions once again and really well.

I really want to pass this time. I really hope someone can reply and help me out here..pleaaseee
