Well, I just heard back from the state board of accountancy that I still need to take the governmental/NFP accounting course for 3 semester units. I am a bit frustrated because I am looking for jobs now and having the CPA licensure would help greatly. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you know of an ACCREDITED university with cheap tuition, and perferably fast-track governmental/nfp accounting course that could satisfy the board's requirement. They recommend University of Phoenix but the tuition rate ($1300) is unbearable since my company doesn't reimburse for tuition.
