Hi Manny ,
Can you let me know what are the chapters in B1 and B5 .I 'm using becker 2010 and not elogible from updates ..So i'll appreciate if u let me know ..Also has b5 changed completely compare to 2010 or just some changes?

Manny I wouldn't think AICPA would focus on COSO during the first testing window. dont stress over it too much. Is all chapter 1 about COSO? About variances. Its certainly not as bad as you think it is. Its a whole lot of stress for nothing. Don't get me wrong, its there but I don't think its anything to stress over. From my experience, there is not any one topic in BEC worth stressing over too much except IT. Its everywhere.

Asgamouh, Thanks for the words of encouragement!B1 is not all about COSO, there are other topics in there too; from Equivalent Units, to some small variances, operations management. control environment etc.I am not stressing too much about any one section now. Just trying to focus on the exam as a whole. I have a week and just took the Becker Final exam 1 so i am not too stressed out now. Just skimming through the text right now and will do the Final Exam 2 next weekend.
Lululene: I think the majority of the changes are B1(completely different than from 2010) and B5(some similar but some different.) Since you are using the 2010 Becker version, i suggest don't waste your time on B1 because nothing from there is included in the exam.

Manny, If you use Becker then you are in good shape. I personally walked into the test scoring about 70 on the Becker final exams. You are in good hands with Olinto and Gearty...as boring as it might seem.

Hi guys! I am sitting for BEC exam in April... And wondering if Becker's material is enough to pull it through. What I mean is, all that they highlight and mark imp is actually tested heavily in the exam. And what all they leave is less tested in comparison. How much stress should I put on ancillary material?
And also how similar Becker's question are to actual exam question? How hard are written communication question in BEC with no knowledge of AUD, FAR & REG?
Any kind of exam tip or suggestion is welcome... Thank you soooo much...
